Be The Difference

Make An Impact

Change A Life

In 1991, Brent’s lungs were punctured, his trachea was severed, and his neck was broken at C3 to C5. He required nearly two hours of CPR before reaching definitive care.

Survival alone was rare. Long term high level physical function after this combination of trauma is virtually unheard of.

With only a fraction of his spinal cord still functioning, Brent rebuilt himself through relentless, self directed rehabilitation and returned to elite performance in one of the most physically demanding industries in America.

In 2018, doctors confirmed his spinal cord is actively degrading and that his long term survival remains medically unlikely.

Instead of slowing down, he accelerated.

Through the Brent Oliver 541 Foundation, he restores mobility, meaningful access, and independence for others, proving every day that the impossible is not the limit, it is the starting line.

Going The Distance To Make A Difference

Brent Oliver was found unresponsive after a motorcycle accident in 1991.

He survived injuries that are almost always fatal.

He did not just live.

He became one of the highest functioning survivors of catastrophic cervical spinal trauma ever recorded, with no known parallel in published medical literature.

His life stands as proof that survival is not the miracle. What you build after survival is.

This story should not exist.

But it does.
